H-House
Residential project,
Malta, 2024/25
H-House was conceptualized in Malta as part of my Erasmus+ exchange
The project is to be a residence for two artists, who would arrive as strangers

Its name is derived from its shape, where the two wings of the building are split to make up the private zone, while the center of the building constitutes the public and shared space

The (in)visible string which is threaded throughout the designs of H-House is that of understatement and natural materials. The artists are protected by natural and local materials like sandstone and local oak wood
The lighting in the bedroom is indirect; it is recessed into the frame of the bed, which also houses space for storage

The living room of H-House focuses on connection based on an open plan which connects the cooking and living space
The furnishing is similarly international to the inhabitants, with Italian lighting from Floss to the Achille Chair by Parisian design studio Pool
