Acea Heritage Box
Product and System Design,
Rome 2026
The Heritage Box is an educational campaign that turns caring for Rome’s nasoni fountains into a playful learning experience.

Concept
In the fall, Acea gives kindergartens and schools the proposed Heritage Box. Classes visit nearby fountains to collect leaves, which they transform into handmade paper using washing soda, cornstarch, and a mold and deckle. The leftover water is boiled into natural ink. Children then decorate their paper with stamps featuring historical designs—like the Original Nasone, De Laurentiis Nasone, aqueducts, or manhole covers—creating unique art pieces they can take home.
